Abstract:

Holographic correlators (or AdS scattering amplitudes) are important observables in AdS/CFT correspondence. There are two very different representations of them, as functions on cross-ratios in position space or as functions on Mandelstam-Mellin variables in Mellin space. In this talk, I will introduce a third way, the differential representation, for writing holographic correlators. This representation reduces the correlators to be certain seed functions with some differential operators acting on, and offers a straightforward way to convert between the position and Mellin representations. It also reveals a hidden property called the double zero property in the Mellin representation.
