On May 6, 2018, Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences (Kavli ITS) at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), held a ceremony for the UCAS appointment of  Professor Enge Wang, a former Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), as Honorary Director of Kavli ITS. Professor Fu-Chun Zhang, the Director of Kavli ITS, hosted the ceremony and made the announcement of the appointment on behalf of the UCAS. Vice President of CAS and President of UCAS, Prof. Shu-Shen Li, delivered the certificate.  Prof. Hong-Jun Gao, Director of the Bureau of Frontier Sciences and Education of CAS, and Enge Wang delivered short speeches.
