Abstract:

Projective constructions are very effective methods to construct ground state and effective theory of topological phases of matter. Nevertheless, it is often very tricky to properly treat gauge fluctuations between partons. In this talk, I will present some examples to shown how gauge fluctuations are treated in 2D and 3D states including symmetry-protected topological phases and topologically ordered phases.
