Abstract:

As one of the most important issues in the gravity, information paradox has attracted much attention. Recently, the paradox is resolved by identifying a new possible Ryu-Takayanagi surface, which leads to a first-order transition in entropy dynamics. In this talk, we report analogy behaviors for entanglement entropy in the SYK model. We consider two different set-ups: the SYK model coupled to Majorana chain bath or the single SYK pure states. We find different saddle-points when computing the Renyi entropy, which leads to a first-order transition as in gravity. We further discuss the origin of the long-time saddle points and its relation to the entanglement wedge reconstruction.
