Abstract:

The so-called 'color-kinematics duality’ was discovered by Bern, Carrasco and Johansson in 2008. This duality implies an intriguing relation between momentum and color spaces in gauge theories. It further suggests a deep connection between gauge and gravity theories, via the 'double copy' prescription. This duality has been successfully used to construct non-trivial multi-loop amplitudes in gauge and gravity theories. However, a fundamental principle of this duality is still unknown. In this talk, I will give an introduction to this duality and its applications, and some recent progress on high-loop form factors will be discussed.
