Abstract:
The non-gaussian corrections to matrix models are crucial to capture thermal mean-field theory and other important features. Based on a statistical point of view, I will try to introduce the 'ETH matrix model' and derive higher order moments from the disk data. It can be further shown that this matrix model captures the JT+single scalar field theory with multiple boundaries at least in disk level, and conjecturally at higher genus. This talk is mainly based on 2209.02130 and its longer companion 2209.02131.
