Abstract:
In this seminar I will present new families of supersymmetric AdS x M4 solutions of D=6 and D=7 gauged supergravity, where M4 is either a spindle fibred over another spindle or a four-dimensional toric orbifold with four fixed points. For all of them I will also give a description in terms of toric geometry and an interpretation in higher-dimensional supergravity theories as branes wrapped on M4. Lastly, I will show that the entropy/gravitational central charge of these 6d and 7d families can be reproduced by extremizing an off-shell free energy function constructed by gluing orbifold gravitational blocks.
