Abstract:

I will describe how the space of EFT and (2D modular) CFT can be described by identical geometries of moment problems. This enables an analytic exploration of constraints otherwise beyond the reach of traditional bootstrap approaches. This includes low spin dominance, a new mysterious principle that forces gravitational EFT to lie in a small island of allowed space, or degeneracy integrality in the CFT bootstrap, which is needed to settle whether pure gravity in AdS_3 is self-consistent.
