The KITS 2017 Forum: New Horizons in Condensed Matter Physics
27-29 March 2017, Beijing, China
The Kavli Institute of Theoretical Sciences (KITS) at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing will hold a three-days conference titled “The KITS 2017 Forum: New Horizons in Condensed Matter Physics” in Beijing from March 27 to March 29, 2017. This is a kickoff conference for the KITS, the newly reformulated Kavli Institute of Theoretical Physics, China (KITPC). The KITS is expected to be a platform for a fruitful dialogue among all scientists worldwide.
Theme
New important developments and emergent fields in condensed matter physics including topological phases and matters, quantum spin liquid states, high-temperature superconductors and many-body numerical methods.
Objective
To present and share the latest in condensed matter physics, discuss future directions and develop working partnerships among scientists in China and oversea.
